25-year-old ICONIQ was a member from Korean group Sugar. She restarted her path as a star in Japan with new name ICONIQ. Her record company Avex invested a lot in her and tried to make her as the star of the year. She was the spokesperson for 7 brands and was the cover girl for about 12 magazines. It does seem Avex spent a lot on this rising star.
However, ICONIQ's debut album "Change Myself" which released on March 10 only sold 40K copies and occupied number 3 spot on the Oricon chart. Yesterday it dropped to even number 8.
