Harlem Yu and Selina Ren were the new hosts to variety show "Guess Guess Guess" this July, replacing previous host Jacky Wu. The new duo brought new games and good ratings to the show immediately.
However, they only paired for a short period of time. Selina was injured during filming in October and cannot return to the set. The remaining Harlem once thought of leaving the show, but decided to host one more season with new partners Chen Han Dian and Amber Ann.
But because the show now moves to Friday and is against his good friend Chang Hsiao Yen's show "SS Xiaoyan Night," the singer turned host finally decided to leave when his contract is over.
Another reason why he is leaving is because of Selina. He expressed he agreed to host "Guess" because he believes it is a fresh combo with him and Selina. He feels it is a pity that he cannot continue to work with the S.H.E member.
"Guess Guess Guess" has been on air for 14 years and once scored a 13 points rating. But in recent years ratings have been low, usually between 1-3. CTV expressed their thanks to Harlem and will invite him to host other programs in the future.
