Ada Choi Camera-shy While Shopping With Husband

Sometimes stars are a little camera-shy.

The 6-months-pregnant Ada Choi was spotted going out with husband Max Zhang. Usually stays at home for her baby, she was shopping groceries yesterday and treated it as a sweet date with her husband. Covering her bump with a heavy coat, she went into the supermarket and brought milk, yogurt, pears, and oranges, even curry.

Didn't expect to see reporters, the TVB actress was surprised and immediately tried to cover her bare face with her hand. Reporters approached her when she stepped out and she even hid behind her husband's back. Reporters asked about her pregnancy, but she kept her mouth shut on that.

"You guys are being bad!," she said with a smile.

Ada later "complained" on Weibo about being followed. She sighed that she should have put on some make-up before going out.

"It's annoying! I was followed yesterday and today again! Hehe...The super tired me could only ask my handsome hubby to protect me! Dang! I should've put on some make-up!"

Ada Choi: It's An Unexpected Pregnancy

Ada Choi's husband Max Zhang announced Ada's pregnancy recently. The 37 year old returned Hong Kong from Mainland and accepted a radio interview yesterday. She disclosed in the interview that she feels surprised about the pregnancy because they actually plan to have kids two years after marriage:

"It's a little unexpected. Our plan is to have kids two years after marriage. I still need to finish jobs that are scheduled already."

The actress does not finish filming of a Mainland series until January. Asked whether she would be a full-time mom, she said: "I really like my job. So besides working less during pregnancy, I only plan to stop working for a month after the baby is born and will resume working afterward."

The mom-to-be is thinking about names for the baby lately and she wants a one-word name. She once considered "Ching" (æ™´), meaning "sunny," but husband said the name does not work if it is a baby boy. She said: "Leave the final decision to Max. He's the head of the family." She does not want to disclose how long she is pregnant for because she is afraid of being asked by reporters.

Ada Choi, 37, is Pregnant!

Congratulations! After two years of marriage, Ada Choi is finally pregnant!

It was the actress' husband Max Zhang who told the news. The actor attended to a celebration event for movie "Team of a Miracle: We Will Rock You" and announced the news after being asked by reporters. But he did not disclose how many months his wife is pregnant for.

"You guys ask Ada. I just know about it," he said, "We don't know the sex of the baby yet, but it doesn't matter, as long as he/she is healthy!"

But according to Mary Hong, who is currently filming a Mainland series with the mom-to-be, she should be more than 3-months pregnant.

The "Fly With Me" actress still has to work even though she is pregnant. Husband Max expressed the job is decided before the pregnancy. To take care of his pregnant wife well, he hired 2 additional assistants to take care of her meals. He also disclosed she plans to return home before Chinese New Year.

Pregnant women have mood swings often and that is not an exception for 37-year-old. Max disclosed his wife has a bad temper already and now it gets even worst. But he understands it is normal and does not mind.

"I understand it's hard for them [pregnant women] to control. I'm treating her like a queen now, but I'm very happy."

Ada Choi Explains Her 'Sexually Explicit Sound Recording'

Recently a sound recording that's suspicious of being a sexual sound recording is circulating on the internet. Some netizens figured the recording is released by a Hong Kong artist on his/her Weibo (Sina Microblog). The file is removed several hours later. Based on the voice of the male and female in the recording, netizens suspect it's TVB actress Ada Choi and her husband Max Zhang.

Here's the short conversation in the recording:
Female: "Try harder!"
Male: "I can't."
Female: "Use more strength! Try harder!"
Male: "I really can't."
Female: "Not anymore?"
Male: "Can't, can't, really can't."
Female: "Use more strength! You can't just stop!"

Netizens compared voice of Ada and Max with voices of the couple in the recording and believe it's highly similiar.

Finally knew about the incident, Ada and Max immediately clear up on their Weibo, explaining it's not a sexually explicit recording. "Manager told us reporters have asked about an explicit sound recording. As for this, I want to say that it's indeed our voice," Ada admits. "However, they are scripts for a scene where we are moving sofa in a movie!," she explains. "Can't believe some people use such cheap way to promote and affect other's reputation to get attention. I'm very disappointed!"

Max seems helpless about this incident. "We didn't want to reply to anything before, but manager called us and said reporters want a response from us...I want to say there are many ways to promote...this type of promotion...sigh, I can just give it a laugh," he writes.

The couple didn't get upset by this incident. Ada is happy that her friends and fans are supporting and loving her still. Max thanks everyone for supporting them. "Actually I'm not unhappy, it's just there's a need to reply. It's good to have Weibo, can share everything with you guys," he says.

Moses Chan Is Disappointed At The Revised Balloon Sitting Game

"Fly With Me" actors Ada Choi, Moses Chan, Kenny Wong, Queenie Chu, and Raymond Cho, etc. went to film new episode of "Super Trio Game Master." The controversial balloon sitting game was revised to male and male, female to female.  Ada expressed to be happy: "We can play it with less worry." But Moses felt disappointed: "Besides same sex repels, it's easy to get hurt. f there's a chance to get hurt, of course it's better to play with females. Now it's male to male, I'm disappointed."

Ada wore two shirts and pants to prevent exposing. Last time during promotion, she hurt her nose accidentally, would she be more careful this time playing games? Ada said: "It's worthy even if I got hurt, because there are prizes, and they give away cars too!" Said she's greedy, Ada joked: "I have a car on my own, but it would be lucky if the car is given by others, I would be happier too." Talked about the game where females have to explode balloons with their chests, Ada joked she's not worried about her chest: "I'm confident in myself, in contrast I'm worried about my back. I have to give birth in the future, but as a superwoman, of course I see difficult movement as nothing!"

In the balloon sitting part, Raymond's bottom area accidentally hit King Kong's elbow. Fortunately he didn't get hurt, and he joked: "Bottom part got hit, but didn't hurt the real thing. I have a child already, now there is only one use." Asked would he try it later when he got home, he said: "It would be too late when I got home, let me try to pee first!" He agreed with Moses that it would be more fun to play with opposite sex.

Queenie said she has been watching "Super Trio" series before entering the showbiz. Now she finally got to play and she said: "I took precaution already. It's not good to children if my pants fell off during the game."

Macy Chan: Run Away If Eric Suen Can't 'Hold It'

Source: Mingpao
Translated by: KAY
Ada Choi and husband Max Zhang, Macy Chan, etc. attended to a MV event yesterday.

Macy said she admires boyfriend Eric Suen is talented; she was there with him during his downfall of his career, so they got to know each other better. Eric worries he can't hold it and have sex with her before marriage? She said: "I believe in him, it's a good thing that he worries, it would make him more careful and cautious. If he has physiological responses, I'll run away. He's a mature man and knows how to handle this type of problem. I'm confident in him. You supposed to care about knowing and understanding each other during dating, you don't care about those things. This behavior is important after marriage."

Asked whether Ada and Max has plan to make babies? Max said: "If she's pregnant she would definitely let everyone know. We're not in rush, wife is still young. In my heart, she's only 25."

No. 1: 99% alike
Plot and promotion clips of "FWM" and Uma Thurman's "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" are very much alike. Janet Bin (played by Ada Choi) is just like Uma Thurman in the movie, usually appeared in normal attire, OL look, but they will gain a perfect body and face and super powers after transformation.

No. 2: 95% alike
Janet Bin in "FWM" has super powers and can protect others without any weapon, which is similar to characters in "Hancock" and "Superman."

No. 3: 90% alike
The scene where Janet Bin used her hands to block bullets is just like the classic scene in "Matrix" where  Keanu Reeves did the same thing.

No. 4: 90% alike
The look of silver-haired doctor, played by Moses Chan, is exactly like the lead in Japanese manga "Black Jack." Also, Janet Bin's outfit is accused of copying Maggie Cheung in "The Heroic Trio"

No. 5: 85% alike
The scene where Ada an her uncle are talking in the hospital is like the scene where Leslie Cheung and Maggie Cheung were flirting with each other in "Days of Being Wild"

No. 6: 85% alike
Janet Bin in "FWM" got her super powers after falling off from a building, just like Catwoman in "Batman 2"

No. 7: 85% alike
Janet Bin received super powers because of genetic mutation, which is similar to Spiderman.

As for netizens' accusations, Ada replied: "Stories about super heroes are usual like that. But we added elements of Hong Kong women in this series, it's something different. However, netizens reacted means this series generated response." Moses felt his character's hair might be similar to character in "Black Jack," but sure that they didn't copy  it. Kenny Wong said: "I personally think there are many scenes where we paid special tributes to classic scenes. But if others have to think like that, it's ok, as long as everyone is happy watching it!"
