Fala Chen New Look For New Drama


Maggie Cheung and Jessica Hsuan cut their hair short to play a police woman, now it's Fala Chen's turn.

The TVB actress will lead new drama along with Michael Tse in <潛行狙擊>. Playing a madam this time, she has to cut her hair short in order to fit the role well. She attended to an event with her new look today and expressed she just cut it.

"Even my boyfriend hasn't seen this new look," she said. "I miss my long hair though. It's my first time appearing in short hair since I stepped into the showbiz."

There are reports saying she indirectly admitted she and boyfriend are married, Fala said she won't reply to these reports anymore.

"I don't want my personal life to be the focus."

Fala Chen Not Good Enough to Shoot Mainland Dramas


Fala Chen and fellow actors from new drama "Grace Under Fire" attended to a promotion event yesterday. It was said Fala and lead Liu Xuan don't get along with each other. But at the event yesterday, they appeared to be very friendly to each other. They held hands together and Liu even fixed Fala's earrings.

It's said Charmaine Sheh is focusing in the Mainland market, Fala said she's not good enough yet, so will stay in TVB: "I was asked to film Mainland dramas earlier. But it's either schedule conflict, or the script is not right for me. I'm not at Charmaine's place yet. It's not about money. I don't want to film it without being serious about it."

Talked about Marie Zhuge is getting married at the end of the year, Fala wanted to avoid this topic, only expressed if she is invited to the wedding, she would try to attend.

Fala Chen Says Charmaine Sheh Earns A lot


Fala Chen just returned Hong Kong from a movie promotion in Singapore and already started working again yesterday. She attended to a fashion and cosmetics show as model and admitted earning a lot this year: "Besides earning money, my hard work is acknowledged by everyone, this makes me feel more successful than earning money. (The TVB artist earning the most?) No, it's Charmaine Sheh. She earns a lot of money from filming, I know she earns a lot."

Fala disclosed she will attend to stage shows in the US and visit her parents at the same time. Johnson Lee Proposes to Yoyo Mung For Ekin Cheng


Steven Ma, Fala Chen, Yoyo Mung, Johnson Lee attended to a promotion event for "Links to Temptation" yesterday and played proposal games. Johnson said he is proposing to Yoyo for Ekin, and Yoyo hit him immediately. She said: "How good are his words? Originally he should say he swears he loves me, maybe because he hosted 'Fun With Liza and Gods,' he thinks quickly, now it became a proposal, but I'm not mad." Asked whether Ekin has proposed, she said: "Don't talk about this all the time. It sounds like I don't need to work. I hope audience can pay attention to the series."

Steven Ma expressed he does not need to practice to propose because he tried a lot during filming. In reality, he plans to propose within these one or two years.

Fala Chen Earns Million This Winter


Fala Chen has been attending to different events to earn money before new series start shooting. Asked whether she earned a 7-digit amount already, she admitted there should be this winter, so she will buy a small gift for herself. She disclosed to spend Christmas with boyfriend.

As for her boyfriend's competitor opens a new karaoke yesterday, Fala continues to support her boyfriend: "I'm leaning towards my boyfriend!" Fala Chen Refuses to Pole Dance For Boyfriend


Fala Chen attended to a Christmas event yesterday and performed the theme song of her new series "Links to Temptation." She expressed although she did not know ratings of the premier yet, but it is known it received good response. Talked about some netizens posted the part where she pole dances in the first episode on the internet, she said: "This is my first time pole dancing. Because the moves are quite bold, need to use lots of strength. Airing the featured part can attract the audience." Asked whether her boyfriend enjoyed her new series yet, she said: "Not yet. Fala Chen Wins Award, Boyfriend Has No Reaction


Fala Chen and Steven Ma attended to the promotion event for new series "Links to Temptation." Fala expressed she has some pressure because it is her first time having a heavy role. As for she won "Best Supporting Actress" in this year's TVB Anniversary Awards, asked whether her "brother" Steven celebrated it with her, she said: "No, not even a text message. I will ask him to pay me a dinner. He was happier than I was that he ran to hug me immediately." What about boyfriend? "No, I don't think it's necessary. The award itself is already an acknowledgment and gift."

Christmas is coming and Fala has yet think of what she wants. She has not bought a gift for her boyfriend yet: "I like to buy something practical, like computer and cellphone." Fala Chen Hints She's Married?


Is Fala Chen hinting she really is married?

Recently, a magazine points out she is married for two years and promised to have kids two years after she wed Sit Sai Heung. But it did not happened still, which has angered her mother-in-law.

The TVB actress attended to a store opening yesterday. As for such report, she expressed she does not know how to explain and she feels sorry that Sit's mom was followed by paparazzi.

Asked whether Sit's mom is her mother-in-law, she said: "Have to ask her. Not like I don't know. We have to make it public at a right time."

The 28-year-old expressed rumors will not ruin her relationship with Sit's mom. As for having kids, she hopes to do that when she is 30.

Fala Chen Doesn't Mind BF Was Married Before


Fala Chen attended to an EA game event yesterday. As for it is reported her boyfriend Sit Sai Hang got married at 18 in Australia, she generously confirmed the news: "I know about this already. I understand everyone has his past. Plus it happened more than 10 years ago. (Is he still taking care his ex? Did you ask why they got married this early?) TVB Sales Presentation 2011 (Event)

 
Last night TVB Sales Presentation 2011 was held in TV city and all TVB artistes were well-dressed to impress. This year's TV king favorites Moses Chan and Wayne Lai were the most popular, who were surrounded by many people when they appeared. Evergreen Mak, who stands out with his role as Leung Fei Fan in "No Regrets," was also popular among advertisers and fans. TV Queen favorites Charmaine Sheh and Sheren Tang were absent from the event.

Moses walked out with rumored girlfriend Bernice Liu. While the "Can't Buy Me Love" actor was conservatively dressed in black, his rumored girlfriend showed off her sexy back in a simple black dress. The actress expressed she might not appear in the Anniversary Awards Ceremony. "The audience don't need me to show off my sexiness," she joked.

Always appear in sexy outfits, Fala Chen dressed quite conservatively last night, only showing her shoulders. She explained there are more Anniversary events coming soon, no need to be too sexy in the beginning. Only filming two series in the upcoming year, she optimistically expressed she stresses on quality rather than the amount. "Plus I'll release an album and work on new films next year," she said.

Other female artistes were not stingy in showing some skin. TVB's new sex icon Samantha Ko appeared in an elegant deep-V white gown. Nancy Wu showed up in a black mini dress with several openings on her chest and back. Jeanette Leung wore a girly tube-top mini dress, charming everyone with her long legs. Skye Chan, who just announced her marriage news, appeared in a salmon-colored strapless long gown and showed off her engagement ring.

In the booklet distributed by the event, actors who act the most in next year's series (three at most) include Ron Ng, Tavia Yeung, Linda Chung, Kevin Cheng, Raymond Wong and Michael Tse. Other actors like Roger Kwok, Bosco Wong, Kenneth Ma, and Myolie Wu only have one series to air next year. Anticipating programs of next year include Wayne Lai and Michelle Yim's "The Big Eunuch," Raymond Lam and Charmaine Sheh's "Colorful World of Sister Fa," and Liza Wang and 4 Gods' "4 Gods.com."

Fala Chen Personal Email Gets Stolen, Used to Open Fake Facebook Account


Moses Chan and Fala Chen modeled for the fashion brands V.E. DELURE and TESTANTIN's latest Fall and Winter collection. Speaking of someone using Weibo to release negative news about Dicky Cheung, checking Weibo almost everyday, Fala said: "Terrifying! Hope Weibo adds more security and protection. Normally when I post something, I would go online to check it one more time. My often change my password too, hoping that these things won't happen again. One time someone used my personal email to sign up for a Facebook account, then I constantly received unknown emails, I discovered the issue when I felt something was wrong, so I really understand how Dicky feels."

Moses said that he doesn't have Weibo or Facebook accounts, normally he'll just upload coffee related photos on Twitter because he has always been skeptical about the data circulated online. He said: "There are too many messages on the internet, it's better for someone to say it in person because comments on the internet can spread through the world, have to be extra careful. I have always been rational, if not said in person or if there is no evidence, I will not believe it. But the majority of HK people are about gossips, will only believe half." Moses has also received a phone call from an unknown person, but he had good ideas to make the person stop. He said: "If the person really knows me, then there are two questions I can ask to ensure that they know me or I will tell the person to take out a group photo to prove it! The audience now are very smart, they don't easily trust rumors."

Sheren Tang & Wayne Lai to Help Clean Cow Dung if Rating is Bad


Sheren Tang, Wayne Lai, Fala Chen, Raymond Wong, Susan Tse, and Pierre Ngo etc attended to the promotion event of new series "No Regrets" (aka Rosy Business 2) yesterday. All actors are very confident in the series. This is another great work from producer Lee Tim Sing and he promised if the series didn't receive good ratings, he would go to countryside to clean cow dung! Wayne and Fala also said they would help producer Lee to clean cow dung by then. Sheren joked she would use the cow dung they collected to open an organic farm.

Asked Wayne whether he's confident ratings of "No Regrets" can break Korean drama aired on TVB several years ago "Dae Jang Geum," he expressed even without counting online viewers, he is confident in breaking the record (50 points). He hopes the premier episode can have a rating of 38 points. Whether he's confident in winning "Best Series" in this year's anniversary series, he said: "I'm confident, because 'Can't Buy Me Love' is a comedy, but 'No Regrets' is a drama that can touch people's heart easily. Hope Tim Gor can win 'Best Screenplay' again, because Tim Gor put a lot of effort into it."

Fala Chen & Linda Chung Are Listed in the 'HK Big Chest Center'


Clips of sexy Hong Kong stars from three years ago are finally in the news.

A YouTube user kevinchanpl uploaded clips of stars in lingerie or swimwear when they walked for public shows and even titled the collection as "Hong Kong Big Chest Center" (香港大波中心). Stars in the videos including Fala Chen, Linda Chung, Rosemary, etc. Some scenes are focused on their chest, legs, and even butt.

These clips have been viewed more than 200k times over these three years. Some netizens praised Fala's 34C chest but some teased the 32B Linda is a "microwave" [direct translation from Chinese is 'small chest oven'].

Fala and Linda's clip is the most viewed, with more than 800k views, but Fala isn't happy about it. "Although don't really have to care too much about it, I just feel netizens can say whatever they want online now since they don't have to be responsible for it. The more improved the internet is, the less respect netizens have. Hope everyone don't be this perverted," the actress says.

She thinks it's hard to protect herself since photographers can shoot from second floor to the lower level. "Can't do too much about it. I can't just appear with a black blanket on me. It's for work. I try this hard to become an actress, hope everyone can respect us."

Teased that she doesn't have a good figure, Linda expresses she hasn't watched the clip. Will she pay more attention to the clothes she wear? "I'm always careful about the way I dress," she says.

Fala Chen Complains TVB Gives Her Wrinkles


Fala Chen attended to a cosmetics brand press conference. She expressed she has been shooting dramas nonstop recent years, causing her first wrinkle to appear in between her brows. "Because I always frown, so the wrinkle is in between my eye brows. This is a sign of aging, and TVB gives this to me. It's hard to accept it, but still have to accept it. Fala Chen attended to a McDonald's event last night. It was the 79th anniversary of the 9.18 Mukden Incident and it was a day Chinese around the world protest against Japan. She used her experience of studying abroad in Japan to talk about Japanese food culture, introducing McDonald's new sandwich Sakana Supreme. A magazine recently reported some TVB fa dans might have had plastic surgery to fix parts of their faces. Fala Chen is one of them. She was said her chin is sharper compared to before and her face is not big anymore. Yesterday she arrived TV city to film series "Female Fist" and she denied the plastic surgery rumor: "The photo was taken 8 years ago. I won't get mad because the person in the photo really is me. At that time, I was eating well and living well, of course I was fatter than I am now." Moses Supports Charmaine Sheh Doesn't Have Princess Disease



Moses Chan, Charmaine Sheh, and Fala Chen, etc attended to promotion event of "Can't Buy Me Love." Although its premier encountered the hostage crisis in Philippine, and yesterday's promotion was the same day as the march to mourn the dead, but the actors expressed they aren't worried it will affect ratings. Charmaine Sheh Fantasizes Ratings of 'Can't Buy Me Love' Would Have 40 Points On The First Day


New series "Can't Buy Me Love" will premier this Monday. All actors wore their costumes from the series to attend to a promotion event yesterday. Leads Moses Chan, Charmaine Sheh, and Fala Chen are very confident in ratings. Charmaine even believe ratings on first day would reach 40 points. Moses didn't avoid praising rumored girlfriend, saying she did great in the series: " 'Can't Buy Me Love' is like the combination of 'Adam's Family' and 'My Sassy Girlfriend.' I believe viewers would like it."

Steven Ma is Favored to Win TV King


Steven Ma, Linda Chung, and Fala Chen's "Ghost Writer" has average rating of 36 poitns in its last episode, peaking 41 points; about 2,580,000 viewers were watching it. Yesterday they attended to a celebration event. Producer Leung Choi Yuen announced this series would film a sequel next year and would be edited as a stage drama. He also favors Steven in becoming TV king this year. Steven is very happy that "Ghost Writer" can film a sequel and becomes a stage drama. As for producer looks highly of him winning TV King, Steven said: "Filming a series is like waiting for scores come out. It's not up to you to decide the score. It can be disappointing to think too optimistically. There would be surprises when you're not thinking about it. I would choose not to think about it. These past several years TV King slipped away from me"

Fala disclosed next year she would develop her career in both music and television industries. She couldn't believe she would have a chance to perform stage drama, she said: "I just got to know about it. Then next year I have to divide myself into several parts, need to divide time carefully."
