Johnson Lee Proposes to Yoyo Mung For Ekin Cheng

Steven Ma, Fala Chen, Yoyo Mung, Johnson Lee attended to a promotion event for "Links to Temptation" yesterday and played proposal games. Johnson said he is proposing to Yoyo for Ekin, and Yoyo hit him immediately. She said: "How good are his words? Originally he should say he swears he loves me, maybe because he hosted 'Fun With Liza and Gods,' he thinks quickly, now it became a proposal, but I'm not mad." Asked whether Ekin has proposed, she said: "Don't talk about this all the time. It sounds like I don't need to work. I hope audience can pay attention to the series."

Steven Ma expressed he does not need to practice to propose because he tried a lot during filming. In reality, he plans to propose within these one or two years.

It is Fala's first time being the female lead, but ratings are average. She said: "It's actually the best out of the three series now. Ratings broke 30 in several episodes. Maybe it's because it's New Year's Eve weekend, everyone is out celebrating after work!" She said she is not discouraged because she attended to many functions thanks to the series!

Johnson Lee Receives Support From GF & Mom

The 3 Gods from "Fun With Liza and Gods" Louis Yuen, Wong Cho Lam, and Johnson Lee attended to a New Year countdown event last night. Always avoid showing up together, Johnson actually allowed girlfriend Lukian "Springroll" Wang to appear at the event along with his mom. Lukian even sat with Johnson's mom and they cheered for Johnson together.

Some fans shout "springroll" at the event and Johnson pretended that he did not hear it, but still replied "love you."

Asked Johnson whether he saw his girlfriend, he continued to pretend he did not see her: "No, didn't see her." As for saying "love you" to her, he explained: "There are too many people I love, about 1,000!"

Johnson Lee's Date Interrupted, Throws Anger At Reporters

Although they have spotted dating several times in public, but Johnson Lee always denies his romantic relationship with 19-year-old Lukian "Springroll" Wang. Recently reporters spotted the couple shopping together in Central. They did not have any intimate moves like couples usually have. They walked together closely and chat quietly often. Lukian stayed with Johnson the whole time, no wonder the 36 year old was seen smiling the whole time.

However, when the actor saw reporters, he suddenly walked out from the store and yelled at reporters: "Which newspaper is it? Don't have enough? You should have enough work done already!" His girlfriend did not dare to say a word while he was throwing anger at reporters. Johnson went black-faced and did not reply reporters' questions. The two then walked to the backstairs and left.

Several days later, the couple showed up in Central again. Johnson was reading newspaper in the car to spare time. Then Lukian was seen getting into his car with things she just bought. The caring Lukian even took out a hand cream to squeeze some on Johnson's hands, moisturizing boyfriend's dry hands.

After knowing they were being followed again, Lukian stepped out from the car and walked to a nearby building; Johnson drove away immediately.

Liza and Gods Anniversary Charade Episode 2 Recap

Episode 1 Recap HERE

Another fun Saturday night! The Gods continues to bring laughter in this week's episode. They play with more disputes and rumors (Sheren Tang & Charmaine Sheh, Charlene Choi & William Chan, etc). Sorry If I spoiled anyone :) Here is the recap of Episode 2:

Intro: In the beginning of this week's episode, the Gods play with Wayne Lai again and recreates the supermarket scene (Wayne was said attracted lots of attention when he shopped at supermarket earlier). Johnson Lee is Wayne, Wong Cho Lam is the son, and Louis Yuen is Wayne's wife.

My MV: This week Wong Cho Lam and Louis sing two classic songs---A-Mei's "Listen to the Sea" and Candy Lo's "Garbage."A-Mei's love song turns into a mom's song and Candy's song is now about plastic surgeries.

Series: Remember the scene where Professor King (Raymond Lam) apologizes and breaks up with Tsui Siu Lai (Tavia Yeung) in "Mysteries of Love"? Johnson is playing with this scene in this episode! How you like Johnson's Professor King look?

My MV: Johnson again! Now he's playing with William Chan & Charlene Choi's relationship in this funny version of "Taxi." He even mixes in Angelababy in the lyrics, how clever!

Series: Then Louis in anniversary series "Can't Buy Me Love"---he plays Susanna Kwan's character and refuses to let other people to use their family's toilet.

Series: Lastly, Wong Cho Lam plays with "No Regrets" again! Not "Pork Rib Boy" this time but Sheren Tang's 9 mui! He (or she...) wants Wayne Lai's character to die because he shoots too many commercial and always win on the mahjong table.

In the first segment, Wong Cho Lam plays "Pork Rib Boy" Pierre Ngo in the scene where the gang is looking for him. Great editing indeed! 'Fun With Liza & Gods' to Hold a Concert Version

The Fun With Liza and Gods Longest Concert held its press conference yesterday at TVB City. Liza and the "3 Gods" Louis Yuen, Wong Cho Lam and Johnson Lee appeared in Star Wars costumes, and announced what the concert was all about, also the concert theme song MV by the 3 Gods premiered.

Liza said: "My main focus is not imitation, just accommodating the 3 of them. The whole show is focused on singing. (Will you sing other people songs?) Limited, I have a lot of old songs myself, but won't change the lyrics, not like them, I am not that type. (Why didn't you take part in the MV?) This is flexible, it's convenient for them to accept shows now that they have their own theme song. (World tour for the 4 of you?) Depends on the time, there are some areas that we have a limited budget. Also, I can pair with other people like Adam Cheng."

The 3 Gods expressed: "This time we are doing two shows because we can't add shows. Before when we were choosing the dates, because our main audience are family, so we chose Saturday and Sunday. (Will you guys invite guests to go on stage?) Yes. Besides imitating more classic public figures, there are some we haven't tried to imitate before. We already have 4 guests who agreed, they won't be imitating anything though, we will imitate them, hope after Part 1, we can do a Part 2."

'Fun With Liza & Gods' to Win 'Best Variety Show Host'?

TVB's "Fun With Liza and Gods" did very well in ratings and word of mouth. Although the show ended now, but the four hosts, Liza Wang, Louis Yuen, Johnson Lee, and Wong Cho Lam, will continue to work as a team to entertainment the audience. It's known they will hold a two show concert starting in December 4. Then they will even tour around the world, going to places like North America, Australia, Singapore, etc.

Because the show is very popular, it's decided TVB will tape 4 special episodes to air in the anniversary months starting November 13. It's believed they have a high chance in winning this year's "Best Variety Show Host." (the award ceremony is in early December)

In addition, it's rumored TVB to start a series and film for the team and the series would start shooting early next year. Yesterday reporters contacted Liza for confirmation and she said: "Filming a film? Really? I thought it's just TV series? I'm not sure! But if it's true then it would be a happy thing." She expressed she would try to participate if schedule permits.

Cho Lam, one of the Gods, said: "We will start discussing the anniversary special. We would like to get crazier this time, will try to see if we can ask TV kings and queens and nominees to tape together. (Will you impersonate them?) Of course!" Another God Louis frankly said because viewers have expectations in them, so they don't want to disappoint them. "In fact we have many new plans and ideas, hope everything will go well."

Johnson Lee Sees Wong Cho Lam As Good Brother

Source: Mingpao
Translated by: KAY
A magazine pointed out Johnson Lee is jealous at partner Wong Cho Lam taking all the limelight in "Fun With Liza and Gods." They also pointed out Johnson is arrogant and aim at others during meetings, even Louis Yuen couldn't stand him. The three were recording for "FWLG" yesterday and they seemed to get along well, nothing went wrong.

Johnson replied to the report: "Do we look like we don't get along? I don't know!" Is it just like how the magazine pointed out, he went against Cho Lam's suggestions during meetings? "That powerful? This is funny. In fact we work as a team, just like a family. We all put effort in creating plots. If we don't get along it would be just like there are problems in marriage. Viewers' support is most important. We respect each other, now there are actually these types of rumor! To be honest, I'm in my 30s, I let many things go, we're all good brothers."

[Interview] 'Three Gods': I Like To Impersonate!

Johnson Lee Practices His Skills By Singing Karaoke

Part 1: Johnson Lee
The Sun / Translated by: KAY
Everyone knows about him impersonating the four heavenly kings, it's an easy job for Johnson Lee to impersonate all Hong Kong singers. Unfortunately Hong Kong is a strange market and can't fit this type of artiste. Although his excellent performances are already hits on YouTube, but he is still not so lucky. Fortunately "Fun With Liza and Gods" made a change in Johnson's life---he is now popular. News relating to his family and romance life are exposed to the public. He didn't worry nor panic, and sees everything like usual, because he didn't think he ever has any bad luck: "This half year, I'm offered with many jobs, really, never thought it would be successful when company shaped me as an impersonate expert. To be honest, now I perform on stage more than acting, of course I earned more money this way than before."

Many people keep having dreams of becoming super stars. But the optimistic Johnson knows it's stupid to think too much: "Won't be stupid to set a time that I have to be popular by tomorrow. There are only 24 hours in one day, it's not enough to use! Don't be stupid. Instead of thinking unnecessary things, why not plan how to do better tomorrow! I don't daydream." It's not hard to learn Jacky Cheung's expressions nor Leslie Cheung's tender sentiments, but Johnson even learned their voices. He said it's because of karaoke: "When I was 14, there weren't too many entertainment living abroad. Family bought a karaoke machine to home, and I kept singing everyday! Different songs released and I would practice all songs. Don't know why, when I have the mic in my hand, I would be like that singer when I sing."

But actually Johnson never won any singing contest: "I sang like Leslie Cheung when I compete in singing contest, of course it didn't work! Didn't have my own style, so never won any contest! But never thought that this can become the way to earn money 20 years later." Now Johnson also have to impersonate different subjective people. He thinks there's only one way to do it well: "In order to impersonate well, you have to be ten times exaggerated in that person's movement and voice, of course some singers' voice aren't too special, then I can never portray them. But won't have a chance to portray them neither, because they won't get popular!"

[Review] Fun With Liza and Gods Episode 6

By far my favorite episode!
The 3 gods continued to portray classic characters from notable shows. Wong Cho Lam appeared first as 4 Nai Nai (四奶奶) aka Sheren Tang from "Rosy Business" (巾幗梟雄) and talked about Hong Kong "chung lui" (中女). Here in the picture he's reading off a list of single "chung lui" in the industry.
Then Johnson Lee is next as Wing Dek (榮德) from "A Fistful of Stances" (鐵馬尋橋). It was amazing! He totally did a good job in speaking the way Wing Dek did in the series. Funny indeed. Selena Li and Angela Chiang were who they are from the series. Wing Dek was more attention-grabbing LOL.
Lastly we have Dai Kai aka Lee Si Kei from "Heart of Greed" (溏心風暴)! Louis Yuen was portraying one of the classic scenes from HOG, where Lee Si Kei was judging Susanna Kwan at home. Louis did a humorous twist to all Lee Si Kei's famous phrases, such as the one in picture. It was supposed to be "未登天子位,先置殺人刀." But here it was about farting a murderous fart!
This part (Sat in the City) was hilarious!!! They showed up in these awesome outfit. Cho Lam in SM GaGa style, Johnson as leopard cat, and Louis....ROFL!!! He even hid two ice cream cones inside those long cones! Take a look here:
The joke in Gag Father was a pretty normal one---it came from a song: Beyond's "Really Love You" (真的愛你)

Then Denise Ho appeared and sang "On Top of The World" with Liza. The entertainment show was about Lisa S & Daniel Wu getting married in South Africa. The kissing was funny.

I have no comment to whoever is portraying other stars.

At the very end, Liza sang a "classic golden song" but to be honest, she couldn't pull of Faye Wong's song. Liza was singing the theme song from her series "The Awakening Story" (婚前昏後) but when she reached high pitches, just failed. Hoarse voice and almost out of tune.

Johnson Lee Dressed Up As A Beggar, Receives Perfume From Tourist

Source: Oriental Daily
Translated by: KAY@kays-entertainment.blogspot.com
Johnson Lee dressed up as a beggar and showed up in Causeway Bay, mocking the well-known beggar in Mainland Xi Li Ge. He wore layers of clothes and was filming for new variety show 荃家福祿壽. When he appeared, many people were looking at him, taking pictures and shouting "very handsome!" He mocked how Xi Li Ge walks on the streets, sometimes screamed, sometimes talked to himself, then searched in a garbage can.

During filming he saw a truck and a picture of Wong Cho Lam was on there. Johnson went over to the truck and kicked on "Wong Cho Lam." Then he went to take a look at a watch store and wiped the window with his sleeve.

Then he took out a mic and interviewed people around the area. A couple seemed very happy and excited. After Johnson said something by the wife's ears, she said happily: "I'm shy!" and left with a hand on her face.

He then interviewed a fashionable tourist. The two talked for about 5 minutes and the woman actually thought he's a real beggar. She showed her sympathy and gave him a designer brand perfume. He felt happy that the audience had great reactions and was grateful for the perfume.
