Cheryl Yang's Face Changed When She Hears Harry Has a Wife

It is rumored that Cheryl Yang and her boyfriend Harry Chang is engaged. The "My Queen" actress attended to the end-of-filming dinner for idol drama "Zhong Wu Yen" last night and did not deny her relationship with the Da Mouth singer; however, she did clear up the engagement rumor: "Getting married is the biggest goal in my life. It needs three things: right place, right time, and right person. It's fated. I'm hoping for the arrival of that day."

During the dinner party, the actress was informed about Harry's "wife" went to the filming set of "Material Queen" (rough translation from 拜金女王) to visit Harry. When she heard the word "wife," she was surprised and her face changed all of a sudden. But she was relieved after knowing that was just the name a crazy fan calls herself.

In the end of "Zhong Wu Yen," Ming Dao and Cheryl are together and get married in a church. The rumored-engaged Cheryl expressed her thoughts about marriage: "When I was 20, I wanted to get married at 28. But once I'm over 30, I feel like, just let fate decides for me. I think women shouldn't marry at a young age, because that way you can allow yourself to experience more and understand yourself more."

Cheryl Yang & Harry Chang Have Fun at KTV

Actress Cheryl Yang and Da Mouth's Harry Chang sparked up after filming idol drama "My Queen" together and started their low-profile romantic relationship last year. Even though they were photographed spending the night together, but the two still keep denying their relationship, defending it is merely "friendship."

Yesterday in early morning, reporters spotted the couple at a KTV. Cheryl walked out from the KTV room with a bunch of friends first. Then the crowd took the elevator down to the ground level along with Harry. Originally still chatting happily, Cheryl and Harry immediately stood away and kept a distance between each other. They stayed alert and kept looking around for "suspicious people" (paparazzi perhaps?). Harry intended to leave with Cheryl together, but maybe because he noticed they were being photographed, he suddenly walked away and took the taxi instead. Cheryl appeared to be a little confused, and left with her friends in the end.

It's known that night was the birthday of a staff member from "My Queen." Cheryl's manager expressed the staff is very good friends with Cheryl. Harry's manager still stressed the two's relationship is always just good friends.

Cheryl Yang Finally Looks Prettier in 'Zhong Wu Yen'

Story character Zhong Wu Yan is known for having a big red mark on her face. In order to portray this character in SETTV's "Zhong Wu Yen," Cheryl Yang didn't mind being called "ugly" by others in the drama. In yesterday's episode, she finally looks prettier even with the "birthmark" on her face. She wore a hot pink sexy dress when attending to an important event. Even her "ugly" birthmark is transformed into a pretty butterfly. She said with satisfaction: "The camera man who praise I'm pretty everyday when we were filming 'My Queen' finally praises I'm pretty this time. It's the first time in these three months."

It's known the production unit once considered removing Cheryl's birthmark in the next half of the drama. Netizens are discussing the possibility of this option when they saw the birthmark disappeared in next week's preview (Cheryl was trying on a flawless foundation make-up). Cheryl herself said she totally respect the unit's professional opinion. She thinks the mark is unique to Zhong Wu Yan, representing her personality and feature. If she has to choose, she hopes Zhong Wu Yan is the original one and male leads Ming Dao and Chris Wu Kang Ren both love the imperfect her; without the birthmark means the original essence is gone.

'Zhong Wu Yen' Has Less Sympathetic Response, Cheryl Yang Still Supports Ratings

Ratings of Ming Dao and Cheryl Yang's "Zhong Wu Yen" (TTV/SETTV) dropped compared to its first week, dropping from 2.70 to 2.16 and losing 210,000 fans. Although they still topped the ratings chart as number one, but "Summer's Desire" at second place is following closely with ratings of 1.83. "Zhong Wu Yen"s popularity didn't meet expectation. In the past, TTV/SETTV's "My Queen" and "Fated to Love You" are hit discussions among netizens. But "Zhong Wu Yen" cannot create this wave on the internet. Besides using old story points and rigid characters, the birthmark on female lead's face is said to be too ugly, plus there aren't too many people out there that share the same experience. The drama cannot create a sympathetic response from most viewers, because it's not a common phenomenon like "marital underdog" and "pregnancy before marriage" etc, which are easier to move fans.

But yesterday Ming Dao, Cheryl Yang, and Chris Wu Kang Ren still hold a celebration event for the drama. The crew even prepared Chinese herb tea to help them relieve summer heat. Ming Dao and Chris Wu are heartache at Cheryl, who has to film under the sun, so they provided a special massage service for her.
