Prudence Liew is out from "The Voice"

TVB's royalty fee conflict with HKRIA isn't resolved and more and more singers are victimized. Earlier, singers under HKRIA missed TVB's "Jade Solid Gold Seasonal Rounds" and "TVB8 Golden Song Chart Awards Ceremony." Then, Fiona Sit and Jason Chan were suddenly out from a performance for Po Leung Kuk. Lately, Prudence Liew, who belongs to Universal, is notified that she doesn't have to come to film "The Voice" anymore (two episodes on January 3, and finale on January 23). Louis Cheung will host on his own on January 3 and Gary Chaw will co-host with him on the finale.

It's known that TVB leveled up its action: besides variety shows involve in singing, don't invite singers to film series until additional notification.

Said Prudence is just hosting, not singing at all, the producer of the show said, "This is a decision made by the company. Staffs from her record company will come into TVB with her. Under this circumstance, we shouldn't work together as much as possible."

Prudence Liew's ears bleed, 75% hearing left

Prudence Liew performed in "Uni-Power Concert" and sang live although she is sick. She has a cold, sinus infection, asthma, and her voice is hoarse. She got sick after attending to the Golden Horse Awards. She said, "My ears were stuffed on the plane and it was very uncomfortable. Blood came out from my left ear when I pressed my nose tightly and exhaled at the same time, trying to relieve my ears." She expressed she found out she lost half of her hearing the second day she came back to HK, "I went to the doctor immediately and his reaction made me thought I'm deaf. He said I need to rest for 3 weeks and cannot take the plane."

She had to consume steroids for two days because she lost her voice, too. Asked why she didn't lip-sync, she said, "Shouldn't do this when working, unless I'm dead. I only have 75% hearing right now and it's already good that I can still perform."

Prudence Liew appeared at 善心滿載仁愛堂 with a deep-v dress, showing off a sexy black lace bra. She became the center of attention, beating all the young singers. She said, “I don’t know who designed this dress. But only matching like this [with the bra] will look pretty.” Asked why she didn’t go braless, she said she couldn’t accept it. Said she won over the young female singers, she laughed and said, “I’m not afraid of cold weather. The temperature in San Francisco is around the same, about 10 degrees Celsius.” Reporters also found her boyfriend was waiting outside the studio.
