She thanked the crew of her concert with tears on the stage and expressed that she was touched to read that a music critic changed his thoughts of her after watching her concert. She said: "In the past, some people thought I'm just a singing machine, no emotions were put in. Until they watched my concert, they feel my 'getting stronger after singing more' personality. Really thank their encouragement."

The silver winner and bronze winner of "Ultimate Female Singer" Kay Tse and Miriam Yeung both thanked their husbands on the stage. Miriam said: "Haven't win this award for 3 years. Kay also praised her husband Louis Cheung is handsome!

Eason Chan Is The First Chinese Singer To Sing In Apollo Theatre

Source: Mingpao
Translated by: KAY
Eason Chan is currently touring in Europe. After he finished performing in London, his second stop is Manchester and he is the first Chinese singer to held an individual concert in that theatre. All 3000+ seats are full and the organization pointed out that Eason's two shows in English already made new records. The server was too busy that it was down once. Tickets were sold out  in just several hours and they had to sell additional tickets.

During his concert in Manchester, Eason couldn't believe the audience was very enthusiastic. Whether he was singing Cantonese songs, Mandarin songs, or English songs, the audience would sing along with him and they would also dance as well.

Eason Chan Rebuilds One Of Leslie Cheung's Classic Looks

Source: Oriental Daily (selectively)
Translated by: KAY@kays-entertainment.blogspot.com
Eason Chan was shooting pictures for the cover of his new album. After setting his hair and make-up for 8-hour, he transformed into Leslie Cheung's look in "Big Heat".

Eason's new Cantonese EP will release on the 12th of this month. He had a hair extension and put on a smoky eyes look specially for this album cover. When he appeared, everyone was surprised to see Eason's new look resembled Leslie Cheung's look in "Big Heat." But Eason said he didn't think he looks like Leslie, he said: "Leslie is one of my top idols, no one can be compared to his temperament!"

Spending 8-hour for hair extension made Eason miserable. He said: "It's very hard to be a woman. Don't understand why girls like to have long hair. But this is one of the break-throughs in my music career, hope fans will like it!"

TVB cuts off Eason Chan and Hacken Lee

TVB is unsatisfied with HKRIA's royalty fee. TVB's general manager, Steven Chan, said they won't play any song from those four record companies (Universe, Warner, EMI, and Sony). TVB enacted right away: Eason Chan and Hacken Lee (both belong to Universe) are out from "Jade Solid Gold" and "The 21st CASH Song Writers Quest."

According to a reliable source, singers from Universe (Eason, Hacken, Kay Tse, Hins Cheung, & Mr.), Warner's Khalil Fong and Fiona Sit, and Sony's Jason Chan will win nothing. Singers under HKRIA will win nothing as well in "TVB8 Chart Awards Ceremony." In contrast, Leo Ku and Joey Yung will have higher chances in winning "Most Popular Male Singer" and "Most Popular Female Singer."

Universe's vice president admitted Eason and Hacken will be missing out TVB's performance, "Nothing is negotiated. How can you attend when you cannot perform at all? We won't attend to 'JSG's Seasonal Round' press conference." Sony expressed to be uncertain whether their singers will attend to the press conference. HKRIA will explain through a press conference next week.
