The Lively Lucas Tse Tries to Grab Reporters' Attention

Starry parents Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung are not in Hong Kong these days, so they hand over the responsiblity of taking caring of their kids, Lucas and Quintus, to grandma Deborah Lee. Several days ago around 4PM, Deborah was seen bring her grandchildren to shopping. She stopped at several kids' clothing stores and picked clothes for the kids. The lively Lucas was jumping everywhere once he was put on the ground. But when grandma was measuring clothes for him, he was obedient and just stood there.

When Deborah was leaving the store with her grandchildren, Lucas noticed reporters were taking pictures of them and he waved to them excitingly. When reporters asked why Deborah didn't bring Quintus today, Lucas kept telling reporters "call my name." Seeing her grandchild was this lively, Deborah couldn't hold her laughter. Lucas even waved goodbye and said "see you" constantly when he was walking away. What a cute little kid!

Charmaine Sheh: It's Too Early to Talk About Crowning TV Queen

Charmaine Sheh, Fala Chen, and other stars from "Can't Buy Me Love" celebrated mid-autumn festival in a restaurant yesterday. The cast also opened champagne to celebrate high ratings of the series (average 33 points, peaking 38 points) and the series is so far the series with the highest average ratings.

From last year's "You're Hired" to this year's "Can't Buy Me Love," Charmaine's performance in comedies are more favored by viewers. She is even looked upon as one of the favorable actress to win this year's "TV Queen (Best Actress in TVB anniversary awards). In fact, she is the winner of "Best Actress" in 2006. Asked whether she is confident in this award again, she felt it's still too early to talk about it, since there are still more series are coming out. "Let it be. Viewers' opinion is more important," she said. "After the unhappy news earlier (Philippine hostage crisis), life and health are the most important. Should spend your day happily."

Rumor Queens in TVB: Sonija Kwok & Charmaine Sheh

There are always rumors between actors and actresses when they shoot series together. Although these rumors may do the work of promoting for the series, but some pairs could end up being real couples---and that's up to you, the viewers, to decide! After a brief organization, the two TVB actresses with the most rumors are Sonija Kwok and Charmaine Sheh. Now let's take a look at a list of their rumors:

Sonija

Sonija vs. Deric Wan: The two met at shooting "The Legend of Love" and were in a relationship for two years. It wasn't good times for the couple, as both of their careers went downhill. The couple split eventually.

Sonija vs. Dayo Wong: They filmed movie "Fighting to Survive" together and were rumored to be in a relationship.

Sonija vs. Joe Ma: It was said they had good feelings for each other when shooting "The Conquest." Magazines even photographed Joe spending a night at Sonija's house.

Sonija vs. Louis Koo: It was reported one day Sonija went missing for 6 hours and she spent these hours in Louis' room. Staff even witnessed the two flirting with each other on the set of the "A Step Into the Past."

Sonija vs. Michael Tao: The two hooked up while shooting "On the First Beat." It was said Sonija was the third wheel to Michael's marriage. Sonija even had to escape to Canada to avoid negative reports that period.

Sonija vs. Steven Ma: While shooting "Perish in the Name of Love," it was said Steven used Sonija to create rumors in order to gain publicity. Steven even exposed once dated Sonija but she denied. The two had grudge against each other and finally recovered their friendship this year.

Sonija vs. Moses Chan: They had rumors with each other when shooting "Where the Legend Begins." But the two denied. Moses even said won't pursue Sonija and they're just friends.

Charmaine

Charmaine vs. Joe Ma: The two were acting intimate when shooting "When Easterly Showers Fall on the Sunny West" together. But of course, a denial from both of them.

Charmaine vs. Benny Chan: It was said they developed good feelings while filming a movie together. Benny admitted the relationship, but Charmaine didn't.

Charmaine vs. Moses Chan: Rumors occurred after they shoot several series together. But Moses drew a line with Charmaine in recent months; is it for girlfriend Bernice Liu?

Charmaine vs. Julian Cheung: It was said Julian's wife Anita Yuen couldn't forget her husband's rumor with Charmaine 9 years ago and tried many ways to fight back. (Charmaine and Julian collaborated in "Return of the Cuckoo")

Charmaine vs. Kevin Cheng: Just like rumors with Moses Chan, regular rumors.

Charmaine vs. Ron Ng: It was said Charmaine gave Ron designer watches and good cars to keep the relationship.

There are many other rumored couple like Moses Chan & Bernice Liu, Bosco Wong & Myolie Wu, Raymond Lam and Linda Chung, etc. Who's real, who's fake? You decide.

Leila Tong Didn't Deny Pregnancy

Since Leila Tong suddenly announced getting married with boyfriend of three years, some reports suggest she is actually pregnant and that's why she decided to tie the knot.

Leila attended to a TV event yesterday. The host teased Leila isn't admitting pregnancy and she said: "What? How do you know? I need to go check it when I return home!" She was smiling embarrassingly as she replied. Reporters wanted to keep asking her about the pregnancy rumor, but she left without accepting any interview, with the reason "need to go to the studio now."

Unfairness in This Year's Golden Bell Awards?

Not everyone is happy about this year's Golden Bell Awards nominations. While nominees like Show Luo, Rainie Yang, and, Chu Ge Liang are happy that they made into the competition, other people are upset for those who didn't get nominated. Autumn's Concerto, the only idol drama receiving high ratings (peaking 8.23) recently, is one of the surprises. Leads Ady An and Vanness Wu are praised for their performances in the drama but received no nomination. Other idol drama stars like Jerry Yan (Down With Love) and Sonia Sui (The Year of Happiness and Love, P.S. Man) are even voted as stars that should be nominated.

Besides idol drama stars, others feel it's unfair that some veteran actors and hosts aren't one of the nominees. Wu Nian Chen, whose great performance in "The Year of Happiness and Love" is acknowledged by viewers, is not nominated and even beaten by young actor Wu Yun Ching (4 Friends). Xiao S and Kevin Cai Kangyong's Kangxi Lai Le are out from the nomination list.

However, these stars can't just stay disappointed the whole time. "We didn't shoot Autumn's Concerto for Golden Bell Awards, it's for love!," Vanness encourages others. As the winner of "Best Variety Show Host" in 2005, Xiao S replies, "Would be happy if get nominated, it's okay if we didn't."
