Selina Ren's Alternative in Showbiz: Radio

Selina Ren's appearance might be affected by the brutal accident, but she can certainly continue her career with her voice.

Fifty four percent of skin on the S.H.E. member are burned from an explosive accident last October. It would be a long road of recovery for her. Her father Ren Ba once again accepted a television interview and talked about his daughter's future plans. He has thought of other alternative jobs for her in case she cannnot return to on-screen.

"She doesn't have to continue her career as a singer," he said. "Just in case, she can be successful as a host, sharing her life experiences with more people."

Ren Ba already discussed any possibility for Selina to work in the radio station with some radio people. He believes although Selina's injuries aren't recovered yet, she can still have fun and success from radio.

Selina's wedding with fiance Richard Chang would be delayed for at least a year. Ren Ba thanks Chang for his understanding and time he spends with his daughter during this difficult times.

"She wants to be a bride happily. It's tough for her to be a pretty bride when she is in pain."

Niki Chow Gets Teary Easily

Niki Chow was shooting drama <我的如意狼君> in the studio yesterday. She was shooting a scene where she leaves home and her family searches for her. In the end, she and Ching Ho Wai, who plays her mother, hugs and cries together.

Before official shooting, Niki was putting herself into the character and her eyes were teary already; even the director told her to hold onto the tears! When it was time for the official shoot, her tears dropped immediately and the scene was done smoothly.

During interviews, Niki expressed she needs to cry a lot when filming this drama: "The plot is very touching. My tears would come out when I was reading it on my own. Then I cry during filming. There's another challenge for filming this drama, that is I have many lines, the longest is 7 pages long!"

Joel Chan Secretly Married But Divorced Now

Another Hong Kong star decides to confirm marriage and divorce at the same time.

TVB actor Joel Chan was exposed divorcing his wife for a new girl. Yesterday he confirmed the divorce and admitted he was married to former girlfriend, 47-year-old Ponny Yeung, 3 years ago.

"First of all, no other parties are involved," he stressed. "I don't want my marriage to fail, but if feelings are gone, then it's gone."

He expressed he doesn't know who exposed this news to the media and now just want to say something about it; however, he doesn't believe his career would be affected.

"It's our personal matter. It's in the news just because I'm a public figure."

The 34-year-old dated his fashion designer ex for 10 years. They met at friends party and began dating despite of their big age difference.

The "A Pillowcase of Mysteries II" star is recently rumored dating Florinda Ho, daughter of Macau's "King of Gambling" Stanley Ho. It's said he gets richer for dating Ho; however, the two denied related reports.

Chan started off his career in the showbiz at age 17 as a singer. He joined TVB in 1995, but it wasn't until in recent years he gets more important roles such as Tso Lun in "E.U." (2009) and Mario in "OL Supreme" (2010). He was nominated "Most Improved Actor" in the 2010 TVB Anniversary Awards.

Michael Tse Leads New Drama as 'Laughing'

The return of the legendary character, Laughing!

The character 'Laughing Gor' in "E.U" (2009) is one of the most popular characters in TVB dramas. Not only it created a wave of following 'Laughing Gor,' it also brought fame to its performer Michael Tse. TVB even filmed a spin-off movie "Turning Point" just for the character and the movie was released the same year, rocking the summer box office.

Whether it sees the character still has potential, TVB to film a new drama "Lives of Omission" (<潛行狙擊>,) featuring 'Laughing' once again; but this time it would be 'Laughing Sir.' Actors from this upcoming drama attended to a costume fitting yesterday, including Michael, Fala Chen, Bosco Wong, and Kate Tsui. Michael disclosed 'Laughing' will return as a C.I.B. officer and develop a relationship with boss Fala, who actually plays his girlfriend in the 'Laughing' movie.

The death of 'Laughing' in "E.U." was huge when that episode was aired. Netizens were so upset that they even created Facebook groups to mourn their favorite character. Many of them even requested TVB to bring 'Laughing' back to life. This time playing 'Laughing' again, Michael expressed he doesn't know whether he has to "die" again.

"Unexpected events would happen in the drama. Only 6-7 episodes of scripts are finished. So far I don't know whether I need to die or not."

The other romance line is between Bosco and Kate. Bosco plays a cripple gangster who joined the gang for Kate. The two will have lots of intimate bed scenes. Bosco couldn't avoid being asked whether he is afraid Myolie Wu would be jealous, but he denied.

"Not afraid. It's just filming. I won't be embarrassed filming these scenes with Kate," he said. "I never see her as a girl."

Aaron Yan Clothes Off For MV

Forget the old Aaron. Prepare to see The Next Aaron takes it all off soon.

Releasing his debut album in April, Aaron Yan is not hesitated to liberate from his old image. He has a bold performance in "The Next Me" MV. His company released a 30-second preview clip of the MV lately. Aaron is seen taking his clothes off one by one, in the end his pants are shown slipping off.

The concept of this MV is liberation. The MV crew prepare a beige-colored underwear for the 25-year-old to wear, but he agrees to just take it all off to express the idea better.

"It's supposed to show my real feelings," said Aaron. "Take off my image, my protection color. Back to me, the real Aaron Yan."

The MV to be released on March 10.

Sammi Cheng & Andy Hui Are Back to Together

You can't forget your old love that easily.

Seven years after they broke up, Sammi Cheng and Andy Hui decided to get back together. Recently they were photographed having lunch together sweetly (picture below) and rumors they are back together broke out. This morning, Andy accepted a radio interview by phone and confirmed his reunion with Sammi.

"We have the same thought in mind. That is begin trying to get back together," the singer said.

The 43-year-old later attended to a press event for his May concert and cleared up rumors. He disclosed since it's a fact, they should let others, especially their friends to know about it. He urged everyone to give them some space to develop their relationship and denied getting married in August.

Sammi herself decided to express her feelings by words. She released her thoughts in a letter she posted on Weibo. She expressed she just wants to develop a normal relationship and it's a new start with Andy. She just wants to let the relationship grow naturally and also urged others to give them some space.

"I can't predict what will happen between us. We are separated for these many years, and must get used to changes we both have. We really need to try to get along and need space...In fact, Andy has been in a bad position in this relationship. People always compare us by our success in career. But we had nothing when we both started. And to me, it's not supposed to be a competition between lovers...Frankly, I hope this relationship will go right."

The couple sparked chemistry back in 1991. Then they were arranged to duet in some songs, including "Actually Do You Have Me in Your Heart" (其實你心裡有沒有我) and "Only You Are Irreplacable" (唯独你不可取替); the latter is even said to be their signature love song. But it wasn't until 2002 that their relationship went to another level. When Andy won "Most Popular Male Singer" at the 2001 Jade Solid Gold Best Ten Awards, he emotionally thanked Sammi on the stage. His "kitchen declaration" remains one of the memorable moments in the showbiz history.

But out of expectation, they broke up in 2004 after 13 years of dating. During these years, Andy dated new girlfriend Michelle and Sammi continues her pop star career, but took break when she was ill due to mumps in 2006.

Rumors of the two getting back together broke out when Andy broke up with Michelle last year. Sammi even wrote a long article clearing up rumors. But that didn't stop fans' hopes of them getting back together. The long wait finally ends, today's news should make fans happy.

Michele Reis Reveals Pic of Baby Son

Michele Reis' son definitely inherited the good genes from his mom.

A month after giving birth to son Jayden Max (JM), the Miss Hong Kong released a photo of her baby son through her company. The photo shows JM when he was just born (left) and JM now (right). Having big eyes and double eyelids, netizens praised this little guy is going to be a handsome man when he is a grown up.

Reis' manager expressed little JM is really cute and looks like both parents at different angles.

"He looks like his dad Julian Hui when he is sleeping, but looks like his pretty mom when he opens his eyes."

Reis herself also have good genes when it comes to slimming down after giving birth. From the photo she posted of herself recently, she looks stunning for a woman who just gave birth.
