Goo Hye Sun Knows Which Part of Wu Zun is the Most Robust

In GTV-Comic Ritz's idol drama, Taiwanese version of "Absolute Boyfriend," Wu Zun has to wear a tight white body suit in order to play a perfect robot boyfriend. His body shape is clearly visible. Once praised Wu Zun's muscular body, female lead of the drama, Korean actress Goo Hye Sun was asked what is the most robust from Wu Zun. She blushed and just laughed, didn't know how to answer. Wu Zun jumped in to help her out from the embarrassing situation: "You don't have to answer this question."

On the set, the leads perform with their native language. Goo says her lines in Korean and Wu Zun says his in Mandarin. Wu Zun disclosed he learned some Korean from Goo right away. "I learned 'a-lah-so' (I know) and 'ken-chia-nai' (it's okay)," he said. Language barrier is quite a problem for them and the two disclosed they know when to say their lines based on each other's body language. But it doesn't work all the time. For an example, during the shooting of several scenes, they had already said their lines but still didn't hear the director say 'cut'---in fact, they didn't know their shot is already over. "I think it only happens in the beginning of shooting. Then our chemistry will get better over time," Wu Zun expressed. "It was a little messed up, but really fun," Goo said.

Goo Hye Sun Searches Wu Zun's Topless Photos Online

It's confirmed that Taiwan is shooting their TV version of Japanese manga "Absolute Boyfriend," a love story between robot and human, and the leads are Wu Zun, popular member in group Fahrenheit, and Goo Hye Sun, South Korean actress better known in the K-version of "Boys Over Flowers."

Yesterday the two idols met each other the first time in the press event for their new drama. Perhaps into his character already, Wu Zun was "behaving like a robot" in contrast to Goo's frank personality. Wu Zun wants to give a good impression since it's his first time working with Korean actress. But he was too polite that he even asked Goo's translator shyly "can I put my hand on her shoulder?" when reporters request the pair to stand a little closer.

Nudity is something pretty much everyone is concern about [In 'Absolute Boyfriend,' there are scenes where the robot Nighto appears topless, even naked. Of course, important part is covered!]. After watching the Japanese version of the drama, Goo immediately go to search explicit photos of Wu Zun had taken in the past, and she is very satisfied. "He has a good body, plus he is handsome," the actress praised. "And I'm very excited to see scenes of him going naked." That scared Wu Zun and he told her she doesn't have to answer questions like that.

Korean Actress Lee Young Ae is Four Months Pregnant

Korean actress Lee Young-ae’s agency has confirmed that the heroine of smash hit Korean TV series “Jewel in the Palace” is four months pregnant.

“It is true that she is pregnant and we were going to inform the press at an adequate time because this is when a pregnant woman is most cautious but it seems like the news has gone out through her father”, Lee Ju-yeol, chief of Lee’s agency Storm S Company told Asia Economic Daily over the phone on Friday.

A report in the August issue of monthly magazine Lady Kyunghyang had first broken the news, quoting the actress’s father who said the family recently found out about Lee’s pregnancy.

He had also explained that they do not know yet whether it is a boy or a girl but both sides of her family are happy over the news.

Lee Ju-yeol added that the actress plans to halt all activities and focus on prenatal care until she gives birth.

Actress Lee, 39, has yet to make an acting comeback since getting married last August but she had been shooting television commercials while studying for a doctoral degree in theater and cinema at Hanyang University.

Best known for her role in hit TV drama “Jewel in the Palace” (”Dae Jang Geum”), Lee took all of Asia by surprise last year when she married a 55-year-old Korean-American businessman in Hawaii.

South Korean Star Park Yong Ha Found Dead in His Home‎

SEOUL - South Korean entertainer Park Yong Ha, one of the most sought after actors in South Korea and a popular singer in Japan, was found dead in his home in Seoul on Wednesday in an apparent suicide, local media reported.

Park’s body was found by his mother with an electrical cord around his neck but there was no suicide note, The Korea Herald quoted police as reporting.

Park, 32, had recently devoted himself to nursing his ailing father who was in the final stages of stomach cancer. He was reported to have been struggling with sleep problems as well.

Park made his acting debut in 1992 but rose to fame in 2002 in the television drama "Winter Sonata," winning a following in Japan and other nations in southeast Asia.

He also forged a career for himself as a singer in Japan where he put out 10 hit albums in the past five years and won four consecutive Japan Gold Disc Awards — a first for a Korean pop singer.

He was due to start filming in July for a Korean television drama called "Comrades, Almost a Love Story," which is a remake of a popular 1996 Hong Kong film.

Park’s death comes after a string of suicides by South Korean celebrities in recent years.

Figures from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in 2009 show that South Korea’s suicide rate experienced a sharp increase from the late 1990s and South Korea now has the highest rate among OECD countries of around 22 deaths per 100,000 people.

Lee Hyori Admits Plagiarizing Songs

By: Lee Hyo-won@Korean Times

Amid an escalating plagiarism debate, pop star Lee Hyo-ri admitted herself that several tracks from her fourth album were indeed borrowed, Yonhap News reported Sunday.

Her agency Mnet Media plans to sue the songwriter who gave the songs to Lee if the songs in question are proven to breach copyright laws.

``There were problems regarding the pieces by (the newcomer songwriter) Bahnus Vacuum,'' said Lee in a message posted on her fan website. ``At first I was convinced that the demo tape of the songs suffered (premature) exposure. I didn't have any doubts since I received the songs through the company (Mnet Media). But after an investigation it turns out that they were not Bahnus' songs.''

Seven titles on her latest recording ``H-Logic''are credited to Bahnus Vacuum (real name Lee Jae-young). There has been much debate over the originality of the songs for some time now among netizens but Mnet Media previously issued a statement upholding Bahnus' claim that the demo tracks were prematurely exposed.

``It took some time to track down the original songs because they were all borrowed from foreign pieces. Two were proven to be based on other works. We contacted the original songwriter and we are discussing the matter. As much as I have caused harm, albeit unintended, I will take the responsibility,'' the 31-year-old singer said of the songs ``Feel the Same,'' ``How Did We Get,'' ``I'm Back,'' ``Memory,'' ``Geunae'' (Swing) and ``Highlight.''In April netizens pointed out that Lee's ``Bring It Back'' resembles Canadian girl band Cookie Couture's ``Boy, Bring It Back,'' while ``Feel the Same'' was similar to Canadian singer Melanie Durrant's song of the same name. ``How Did We Get'' was compared to ``How Did We'' by U.S. singer Jason Derulo, while ``I'm Back'' was measured against Canadian singer Lil Precious' ``So Insane.'' ``Memory''was noted for its resemblance to ``The Alphabet Song'' by British band Second Person.

Mnet Media said that it contacted the foreign songwriters of the songs in question via email beginning in April, and received a reply from the agencies of Cooki Couture and Second Person. The issue is currently being discussed between lawyers representing the respective artists.

Jang Dong Gun To Be A Father In October

Source: Korea Times / By: Lee Hyo Won
Actress Ko So Young revealed that she is three months pregnant, Thursday, ahead of her marriage next month to heartthrob Jang Dong Gun.

``Ko So Young has reached the third month of her pregnancy. She will become a mother around September or October,’’ Jang’s management agency AM Entertainment said.

The couple revealed in November 2009 that they had been dating since 2007, and announced plans to tie the knot in March. Rumors of Ko being with child started circulating when the couple made visits to each other’s parents ― which is considered a formal gesture to wed here ― in mid-February.

``When the two began preparations for the wedding earlier this year, they considered having children the top priority. Considering their age, both sets of the couple’s parents wanted them to have a baby as soon as possible,’’ said the agency about Jang and Ko, who are both 38 years old.

``Jang Dong Gun and Ko So Young, as well as their parents and family, are extremely delighted about the pregnancy and are celebrating. They think it is the best wedding gift ahead of the ceremony.’’

According to local reports, Ko had been spotted frequenting an OB/GYN in southern Seoul. Last year, Jang quit smoking cold turkey, following Ko’s suggestion, and some speculate that it was part of preparations to have a baby.

Rain was surprised to hear about the ban, and expressed that he's willing to cut out relevant scenes that had violated the policies.

Although his MV got banned, but this new song is still very popular that it's in the number spot in MCountdown.

TVXQ/DBSK to Stop Their Group Activies

Is it time to go solo?

With their group activites in Korea already halted due to a lawsuit  filed by Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu  against SM Entertainment, it was announced today that TVXQ will be stopping their group activities in Japan.

Despite the lawsuit filed by the JaeChunSu trio in mid-2009, TVXQ still continued their group activities in Japan.

But it looks like their 30th single, Toki o Tomete which was released late last month could be their final piece together.

Visitors to their official Japanese website on April 3rd were greeted with a popup message from Avex Japan which stated that ‘Tohoshinki will stop/pause their activities as a group and to please support their solo activities‘.

With no definite timeframe or concrete details from Avex Japan, fans are undoubtedly crushed by this devasting announcement.

Keep the faith though, it could be just temporary,

Or, forever.
