Selina Moans Out in Pain During Sleep

It is Selina Ren's 13th day in Taiwan since she is injured from the explosive accident late last month. Her parents continue to update Selina's current condition on Weibo. Her father discloses his daughter does not sleep well and seems to have nightmares often. "She will fall asleep after changing medicine. Sometimes she would moan out in pain and tremble. It looks like she is having a nightmare."

Although she is in great pain, but Selina stays strong and tries to be optimistic. When she is in better condition, she would take off her oxygen mask and treat it like a microphone, singing songs with her father. "If I heard the sounds of drums, I'll be feeling happier," she sings.

Selina's record company HIM discloses the singer continues to have fever these 2 days. They are still waiting for a full report on the explosion accident from Hunan TV and hope there will be results this week.

Bernice Liu Supports Wayne Lai For TV King

Bernice Liu attended to the opening ceremony of Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton  as guest yesterday. The organization even arranged a male model to pair with her. The "couple" even kissed on the cheeks twice during the event. She said, "We didn't rehearse before. He really did ask whether we need to kiss again. I just knew to laugh when I heard that, because I couldn't reject." Asked what would she do if he kiss her on the lips, she said, "Probably turn away. I don't know, never encountered things like that." MC of the event teased she only loves to drink coffee, and she said, "Actually I drink lots of tea. I'm very traditional!"

This year's TV King competition seems to be between Bernice's rumored boyfriend Moses Chan and Wayne Lai. Bernice expressed she supports both actors plus Raymond Lam, but she said, "Wayne's series is on-air now and has a bigger noise. I support them all. But I'm just one of the audience."

Talked about what would she do if Moses won, she said, "If he won, he has to bring us out to eat, because there are usually celebrations." She also expressed she is currently busy filming new series and does not know whether she is able to attend to the anniversary awards.

TVB Anniversary Feature: Evergreen Mak

Evergreen/Makbau Mak Cheung Ching (麥長青) is one of those actors in TVB who spent many years to reach where he stands now.

Joined TVB after losing the 1987's "Super New Star Competition" (超級新星大賽), Makbau (meaning "wheat bread") starred in many series as those non-important roles in the beginning. Then finally getting heavier roles, like the forensic professional in Detective Investigation Files II (1995) and Sha Zeng in TVB's Journey to the West (1996, 1998) [second pic].

But he still could not earn enough to support himself and his family. Once with millions in debt, he finally paid everything back to the bank 2 years ago.

And this year, his long years of work also paid back. Although he has played villains before (like Chiu Kwan Ho in Catch Me Now), but it is until this year in No Regrets, his role as Leung Fei Fan (first pic, a selfish greedy police) made him stand out. "Leung Fei Fan, eat shit lar!," says Wayne Lai in the anniversary series. Yes, everybody hates Fei Fan Gor. And yes, everybody knows Makbu now.

How about a "Best Supporting Actor" nomination in this year's anniversary awards?
