Is Christina Aguilera ready to go public with her rebound man?

In Los Angeles Sunday, the star -- who filed for divorce from Jordan Bratman last month -- was photographed in L.A. holding hands with new guy Matt Rutler, a set assistant whom she met while making Burlesque.

It's definitely progress for the duo: The last time Rutler stepped out with Aguilera, 29 (during a Nov. 5 outing at L.A.'s Soho House with Nicole Richie and Joel Madden), he attempted to hide from the cameras.

"They've been on a few dates," a source says earlier this month, explaining that they reconnected after Aguilera's September separation from Bratman, her husband of five years.

Cautioned the source: "She's not looking to jump into a relationship right now. She...is focusing on spending as much time as possible with Max," her two-year-old son with Bratman, 33.

Rutler has been "really good for her and is helping her through this difficult time," adds the insider.

 Christina Aguilera confirmed Tuesday that she and husband Jordan Bratman have split after five years of marriage.

"Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever,” the singer tells People Magazine in a statement.

However, they have not yet decided whether to divorce.

Aguilera, 29, and Bratman, 33, wed in California's Napa Valley in Novembert 2005. Their son was born in January 2008.

Christina Aguilera sheds her clothes and strikes a pose in a pair of skin-tight Christian Louboutin thigh-high boots and blinged out Gaspar gloves for the June cover of German GQ magazine.

No stranger to nudity (she posed with just a sheet for the American version of GQ in 2006) the singer, 29, recently told the Q100 Bert Show in Atlanta that she's "more confident and comfortable in my own skin" since the birth of her two-year-old son Max.

Aguilera, who wed husband Jordan Bratman in 2008, describes herself as a "very sexual person" and doesn't plan on dulling it down anytime soon.

As part of the media blitz to hype up her next album, Bionic (which drops June 8), Aguilera is also featured on the June cover of Latina magazine wearing a green leopard print frock, slicked back hair and a heavy smokey eye.
