Wayne Lai & Sheren Tang Might Win TV King & Queen Again

TVB's 2010 Anniversary Awards is this Sunday and everyone has been discussing who will be this year's TV King and Queen. Audience voting ended on November 28 and all the votes have been calculated. The "professionals"---heads of 6 TVB department including Virginia Lok, Ho Lai Chun, Tommy Leung, and Catherine Tsang---finally voted yesterday and their votes count as 50% of the voting (20% producers, 30% audience).

According to reliable sources, most of these 6 people voted last year's TV King and Queen Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang. As for audience voting, the top 5 nominations for TV King are (random order): Raymond Lam, Steven Ma, Wayne Lai, Felix Wong, and Moses Chan; top 5 nominations for TV Queen are (random order): Charmaine Sheh, Sheren Tang, Linda Chung, Tavia Yeung, and Jessica Hsuan.

However, there could be still changes. Although Wayne's series "No Regrets" just ended last week with high ratings, but Moses' biggest advantage is that he is TVB's "biological son." His only disadvantage is that his "Can't Buy Me Love" ended a while ago and audience might have forgotten his performance.

Ada Choi: It's An Unexpected Pregnancy

Ada Choi's husband Max Zhang announced Ada's pregnancy recently. The 37 year old returned Hong Kong from Mainland and accepted a radio interview yesterday. She disclosed in the interview that she feels surprised about the pregnancy because they actually plan to have kids two years after marriage:

"It's a little unexpected. Our plan is to have kids two years after marriage. I still need to finish jobs that are scheduled already."

The actress does not finish filming of a Mainland series until January. Asked whether she would be a full-time mom, she said: "I really like my job. So besides working less during pregnancy, I only plan to stop working for a month after the baby is born and will resume working afterward."

The mom-to-be is thinking about names for the baby lately and she wants a one-word name. She once considered "Ching" (晴), meaning "sunny," but husband said the name does not work if it is a baby boy. She said: "Leave the final decision to Max. He's the head of the family." She does not want to disclose how long she is pregnant for because she is afraid of being asked by reporters.

3 'Gods' Don't Dare to Play Law Kar-ying

Liza Wang (Ah Jeh) and the 3 'Gods' Wong Cho Lam, Louis Yuen, and Johnson Lee went to the rehearsal for this weekend's <荃加福祿壽宇宙最長> ("Liza and Gods' Universe' Longest") concert. Three models were arranged to take photos with Johnson because he will dirty-dance with models at the concert. Cho Lam and Louis joked they already had a "proper meal" (girlfriend) and leave dirty-dancing to Johnson, who needs to lose weight and eat less "meat" (desire). Louis also exposed several guys fight to dance with Ah Jeh and they will sing with a pop queen, too.

Asked whether Law Kar-ying (Ka Ying Gor) would attend to the concert? Ah Jeh expressed he is not in Hong Kong. Whether they would find someone to impersonate him? Louis said: "We don't dare. It's disrespecting." Whether their girlfriends would show up? Louis made fun of Johnson: "Johnson will ask 'big' 'medium' 'small' dim sum to come (pointing to Johnson's rumored girlfriend 'spring roll'). TVB Anniversary Awards is this Sunday and they plan a skit for it; someone will appear to get the award that night. As for whether it would be Moses Chan or Wayne Lai, they will not reveal until that night.

Raymond Wong Faces Anniversary Awards Peacefully

Anniversary series "No Regrets" pushed Raymond Wong Ho-Yin's popularity to the peak. He accepted an interview by Metro Radio today and talked about this Sunday's TVB Anniversary Awards. He is facing the big show peacefully: "Have to look for the right time and right place. It would affect the result whether the series is aired in the beginning or the end of the year, because voters' votes count." It is said he is the most favorable to win "Most Improved Actor," he said: "Those who are nominated are [my] competitors. I'm happy with whoever wins the award." As for his pick for TV King, he looks highly on Kent Cheng: "He taught me many things. I learned a lot from working with him."

Ho-Yin is playing a villain in next year's series, asked whether he is confident? He said: "Don't have to think that much, it's more important to enjoy the filming. My wish for 2011 is to enjoy from work."
