'Home Troopers' Finale Rating Peaks 35 Pts

The drama's good ratings saved some face for the leads.

TVB's "Home Troopers" has been receiving mediocre ratings since it debuts on television last month. Its weekly average ratings are usually around 27 points, never broke 30 points like some other series did. Others even said it is Bernice Liu's negative news that affect ratings of the drama.

Fortunately there was a turning point last week for the drama. Last week's average rating is 29 points, and rating of the 2-hour finale aired on Friday even peaks 35 points.

In addition, another TVB drama 'A Great Way to Care' also did well last week, receiving 31 points on average. It seems ratings of TVB's weekly dramas are back on track as people returned home from traveling.

Samantha Ko Lets Fala Chen Point At Her Bust

TVB's new sexy icon has another sexy performance on screen.

Playing a sexy tutor queen in upcoming film "I Love Hong Kong," Samantha Ko always dresses sexily to attract students. In one scene, she is wearing a white blouse with her bust widely open. It seems Fala Chen's character in the film is criticizing her as Fala points at her bust.

However, Samantha is not embarrassed when filming this scene, and even thought she is being treated better this time.

"Last time I had to wear bikini when I filmed '72 Tenants of Prosperity' and people sprayed water on me!," she said.

The TVB artist does not mind showing her bust often, and is happy as long as she gets to participate in the film.

Jiro Wang & Ariel Lin Sacrifice For Coke Ad

Sometimes you must sacrifice a little for good results.

Fahrenheit's Aaron Yan, Calvin Chen, and Jiro Wang and Ariel Lin arrived Hong Kong yesterday to shoot a new Coca Cola commercial together. They first shoot advertisement photos, then went to a hot pot restaurant for television commercial.

The four has to drink coke and while eating hot pot. Before official filming, Aaron and Calvin was "prepping" already---start eating. In fact, Aaron likes beef a lot that he ate 20 plates of hot pot beef that day.

While they enjoy food on the set, Jiro and Ariel were not doing so well. Jiro was tired from the busy schedule that he had a stomach flu. Even he had quit eating beef already, he broke the rule and had a taste that day, just for the commercial to look good.

Although she is afraid of eating spicy foods, but Ariel sacrificed herself this time. The professional actress ate lots of hot peppers on the set, making her had a stomachache at the end.

This red hot commercial the four shoot will appear on television during Chinese New Year.

Fahrenheit Tries to Get Through the Crowds in Airport

Sometimes you just want to get away from the crowds as soon as possible.

Fahrenheit's Jiro Wang, Calvin Chan, and Aaron Yan arrived Hong Kong yesterday to shoot the latest Coca Cola commercial. Fans had been waiting for their idols 3 hours before the flight lands. When the three finally walked out from the gate, fans held up their banners and cheered loudly immediately.

Because they were surrounded by hundreds of fans, the 3 Fahrenheit members were moving slowly. When they were near at the exit, Jiro suddenly ran ahead with Calvin, and of course their fans followed after them.

Wearing a mask and putting his hood over his head, Aaron couldn't catch up and was left behind. He decided to stand there and let fans take pictures of him. He also disclosed the missing Fahrenheit member Wu Zun is back to hometown Brunei.

In fact this time the 3 of them are shooting the second part of the commercial that Wu Zun already shoot with Ariel Lin. It's known the commercial would air during Chinese New Year next month.

Charmaine Sheh Not Filming 'Forensic Heroes 3'

Due to an arm injury, it's confirmed Charmaine Sheh won't star in upcoming TVB drama "Forensic Heroes 3."

The TVB actress has been filming in Mainland recently and was about to return to Hong Kong. When she was getting off a car at the airport, she slipped and her left arm elbow hit the ground first, which caused her joint to dislocate. She is expected to take several weeks off to treat her arm.

Charmaine talked about her current condition on the phone yesterday and sounded quite weak: "My leg started to numb, and doctors said nerves are being pressed. My hand hurts a lot. My waist can't stay in the same position for too long, so I didn't sleep well last night."

The 2006 TV Queen is disappointed that she couldn't collaborate with TV King Wayne Lai this time. She's upset that her accident affected the drama, which started filming already.

Producer of the drama Mui Siu Ching is in a rush to find someone equivalent to Charmaine. She stressed it's more important for the actress to be in good health.

"Even if she forces herself to work, her joint could be dislocated again easily. She might need to do physical therapy exercises after resting 6 weeks," she said.

Male lead of the drama Wayne was superstitious that he thought his bad luck might have ruined his chance to collaborate with Charmaine. As for who is his desired female lead replacement, he can't think of one yet.

"It's hard to say," he said. "But it's more important for her to be pretty, since I'm a handsome man in the drama."

In addition, it's said Maggie Cheung would take Charmaine's role.
